How this estimate works

The calculator uses conservative, transparent assumptions so the number is honest rather than flashy:

  • Film savings: a machine with powered pre-stretch typically uses about half the film per pallet that hand-wrapping does, because the film is stretched up to ~250% before it reaches the load. We apply a 50% reduction to your current per-pallet film cost.
  • Labor savings: we credit about 0.8 minutes saved per pallet versus walking film around each load by hand, valued at your labor rate.
  • Payback: your machine-price estimate divided by the monthly savings.
