Houston has added industrial and warehouse space at a fast clip across its major corridors, and as more product moves through those buildings, the constraint tends to migrate to end of line. When picking, packing, and staging get faster but pallets are still wrapped by hand, wrapping becomes the quiet bottleneck that caps how many trucks you can load in a day. The fix is rarely more people, it's automating the one station that hasn't kept pace.
Drive any of Houston's industrial corridors, the I-10 energy-and-logistics belt west of town, the US-290 growth path toward Cypress, the Grand Parkway ring pulling distribution outward, or the dense terminals around the Ship Channel, and you'll see the same story in steel and tilt-wall: a lot of new space, filling fast. The trigger isn't a magic pallet count, it's the moment wrapping starts governing the pace of everything behind it. Two things make this local. First, the pace of new space here means operations often hit their next volume tier faster than they planned, the ceiling arrives sooner than expected.
