It's a turntable wrapper that attaches and cuts the film automatically. Unlike a semi-automatic, where the operator threads the film tail and cuts it on every load, the automatic model clamps, wraps, then cuts and wipes the tail on its own, so the operator only stages pallets on and off. That hands-off cycle is what lets it keep pace at higher volume, wrapping roughly 30 to 60 stable pallets a day.
How it works
- Stage the pallet on the turntable with a forklift or pallet jack.
- Press start. The machine automatically clamps and attaches the film, no threading by hand.
- It wraps the load bottom-to-top and back down, with reinforced base wraps, while powered pre-stretch stretches the film.
- It cuts and wipes the film tail automatically at the end of the cycle, the operator just removes the wrapped pallet and stages the next one.
Removing the manual attach-and-cut step from every load is the whole point: it cuts the seconds the operator spends per pallet, keeps wrap tension and coverage consistent load after load, and lets one person feed the machine steadily through a busy shift.

Not the best fit when…
- You wrap only a handful of pallets a day, a semi-automatic turntable costs less and is plenty.
- Loads are very heavy, very light, or unstable and shouldn't be spun, use a rotary-arm wrapper.
- You need no operator at all, with wrapping built into a conveyor line, step up to a fully automatic inline system.
