Automatic Inline Stretch Wrap Systems in Houston

Complete end-of-line automation, pallets flow in on the conveyor, get wrapped and cut with no operator, and flow out to shipping. Maximum throughput, at the best price in the market.

What is a fully automatic inline stretch wrap system?

It's a stretch wrapper built directly into a conveyor line. Finished pallets travel in on the conveyor, are wrapped, cut, and wiped automatically, then flow out the other side to shipping, with no operator handling the machine. It's complete end-of-line automation for high-volume operations pushing 60+ pallets a day, and the highest cost tier of pallet wrapper.

Fully automatic inline conveyor stretch wrap system with safety guarding

How it works

  1. A finished pallet flows in on the infeed conveyor, no forklift staging into a wrapper.
  2. The system positions and wraps the load automatically: it attaches and clamps the film, wraps bottom-to-top with reinforced base wraps, and applies powered pre-stretch.
  3. It cuts and wipes the film tail automatically at the end of the cycle.
  4. The wrapped pallet flows out on the outfeed conveyor to staging or shipping, the line keeps moving.

Because wrapping happens in the flow of the conveyor, there's no operator loading and unloading a turntable and no manual film handling anywhere in the cycle. Pallets are wrapped as fast as the line feeds them, which is what makes inline the highest-throughput option.

Safety guarding & integration

An inline system is a piece of automated equipment on a moving line, so proper safety guarding is part of the build: perimeter guarding, light curtains, and interlocks keep operators clear of the wrap zone and moving conveyor. The system also has to be integrated with your conveyor, infeed and outfeed sections matched to your pallet size and floor layout, with power and controls tied in. We scope that integration and guarding with you up front.

Best for

  • High-volume operations wrapping 60+ pallets a day
  • Warehouses that want true hands-free, end-of-line automation
  • Facilities that already run, or are building, a conveyor line to shipping
  • Operations that need to remove labor entirely from the wrapping step

Not the best fit when…

  • You wrap modest volume, an automatic turntable or semi-automatic costs far less.
  • Loads are heavy, light, or unstable and you're not running a conveyor line, a rotary-arm wrapper is the better fit.
  • You don't have, and don't want, a conveyor line feeding the wrapper.

Automatic Inline System FAQs

What is a fully automatic inline stretch wrap system?
A stretch wrapper built directly into a conveyor line. Finished pallets travel in on the conveyor, are automatically wrapped, cut, and wiped, then flow out to shipping, with no operator handling the machine. It's complete end-of-line automation for high-volume operations, and the highest cost tier of pallet wrapper.
How much throughput can an inline system handle?
It's built for maximum throughput, commonly 60+ pallets a day and well beyond, since pallets are wrapped as fast as the conveyor feeds them and no one has to load or unload a turntable. The exact rate depends on load size, wrap program, and conveyor speed.
What does an inline system require to install?
Because it integrates with your conveyor line, it needs floor space for infeed and outfeed conveyor, power, and proper safety guarding, perimeter guarding, light curtains, and interlocks to keep operators clear of moving equipment. We scope the conveyor integration and guarding with you and quote the best price in the market for the complete system.
Do you sell the stretch film for it too?
Yes. We supply machine-grade stretch film refills in the gauges and roll sizes your inline system needs, delivered across Houston, one local source for the system and the film.
